Happy Halloween everyone! <3

Pumpkin Day (our Halloween celebration at school) was...interesting
I walked down the parade as Yuna. People were amazed at my costume. That was flattering ^^

And for the first year, there were other cosplayers at my school!
So cute! They were a Death Note group!

There were awards given out for costumes. But they went to only Middle Schoolers. (7th and 8th Graders)
Basic thoughts of the upper school population in response:
-WTF! what about the rest of us?
It's as if they aren't thinking about us at all!
-That costume has been done before.
(And it didn't win the other times.)
-That costume was PURCHASED. REAL ORIGINAL KID. D:<
-That costume was purchased and it looked BAD.
-That costume was handmade and it looked BAD.
-That costume looked bad in general!
-The judges are just spoiling them.
-POOR EXECUTION OF PRESENTATION. D:
-It's not like they would cry if they didn't win. I mean. COME ON.
They have to be at least 12 right? >:[

GOOD GOD. IT'S LIKE COSPLAY BITCHING ALL OVER AGAIN! D:
I try to get away from this in the cosplay community and here it is at SCHOOL! FML.

I didn't go that far with my opinions. I did think the judging was a little unfair. I think it should have been more like a cosplay judging. Based on quality of the costume and the execution of your presentation. However, this my opinion. *nods*

Some of the Middle Schoolers DID deserve the awards. I applaud that. They worked really hard on their costumes and you could tell!
And for the High Schoolers really deserved the awards:
Fail on the judges. FAIL.

Regardless, I had fun with my friends. ^^ and that was good.

I was supposed to go to my friend's for a party that night. I didn't feel good and stayed home.

ergh.
